Peter in Thetford - 19th November 2009
Peter's visit to Thetford on the 19th November 2009. During his visit he held a meeting to discuss a number of issues, saw some local landmarks and a number of the problems facing Thetford.
Peter leaving the meeting Peter held a meeting with a number of people at the Abbey Community Centre where he discussed a number of issues concerning Thetford.
Peter at the Abbey Barns Peter visited the site of Abbey Barns where he took a number of notes. Peter supports the retention of these historically significant buildings for public use.
Peter at the Priory Peter visited the Priory, an outstanding local landmark for Thetford. Peter felt it was an absolute asset for the town
Peter at the old Cosy Carpets warehouse Peter visited the old Cosy Carpets warehouse and was appalled to witness Breckland councils failure to protect historical buildings in Thetford.

Peter meeting "Thomas Paine" Peter visited the statue of Thomas Paine. He felt that Thomas Paine, as a son of Thetford was a fantastic ambassador and attraction to the town.
Peter outside The King's House Flying the flag for Britain, for England and for Thetford. However, Peter calls on Thetford Town Council to give the national flag it's rightful precedence that the top.
Peter's dismay at the number of stores closing on the High Stree Peter felt that the number of stores closing down on Thetford's King Street was distressing. He feels more should be done to promote a healthy high street
